ABC Flashcards for iPhone and iPad · Effective 31 October 2026

In short: ABC Flashcards collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs, and the app does not connect to the internet during normal use. The only thing it saves is a few parent settings, kept on your device.

Who we are

ABC Flashcards ("the app") is made by HOME BERRY (Home Berry Shop). It is an alphabet and early-learning app for children aged 2 to 5. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with information.

Information we collect

None. The app does not collect, store or share any personal information from children or adults. That includes:

We, HOME BERRY, have no servers that receive data from the app, and we never see how your child uses it.

No accounts, ads, tracking or third-party SDKs

What is stored on the device

The app saves only the parent settings — hands-free mode on or off and its speed, sound on or off, and the slower voice option — in the app's local storage on your device (iOS UserDefaults). These settings:

Links and the parent gate

Children cannot leave the app from any screen they use. The only link out of the app is the Rate ABC Flashcards button, which opens the App Store review page. It is inside the parent settings, which open only after pressing and holding the lock on the home screen for 3 seconds and then answering a multiplication question that young children can’t solve.

Children's privacy

ABC Flashcards is designed for children under 13 and follows the principles of the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR's protections for children (GDPR-K). Because the app collects no personal information, there is nothing for us to review, export or delete on your child's behalf. Parents and guardians are welcome to contact us at any time with questions.

Apple and the App Store

Downloading the app, and any updates, is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. Apple handles this; the reports do not identify you or your child, and you can turn it off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes anything described here — for example by adding ads — we will update this page and the effective date above before that version is released.
